Your Role You monitor and steer the local plants of your region and take care that group guidelines and standard processes are followed You lead regularly meetings with local plants, carriers and group functions to steer Performance and KPI’s Within the team Global Transportation you decide and prioritize IT improvements You are reviewing global master data like routes and carrier networks and make necessary adjustments You communicate process/system changes and improvements to the plants and ensure that key users are trained well You deal with escalations and root cause analysis in your daily work % of your time you spend on projects – for new roll outs & continuous improvement initiatives Drive activities via Sourcing such as RFQ’s, service provider benchmarking Drive cost saving activities & ensure annual cost saving targets assigned are achieved and exceeded Implement a problem solving & continuous improvement mindset across the respective region You implement and monitor efficient and effective processes in the IT systems and ensure an adequate documentation Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, executing and monitoring projects to optimize the transportation network   Your Profile You have a completed logistics, business or supply chain management degree You have experience in transportation and logistics environment of at least 3-5 years You are a team player and passionate about optimizing logistics processes with the ability to steer and manage local operations You have a proactive personality, strong hands-on mentality and demonstrated ability to work independently within a global and changing environment with strong communication skills As a solution-oriented person you convince with affinity for numbers and analytical thinking You have profound SAP knowledge in SAP S/4HANA logistics modules, ideally knowledge in SAP TM Experience with other logistics tool as Slot Booking, Shipment Tracking or Data Interfaces to carriers are a plus Your working language is English, German skills are an advantage   What we have to offer Competitive salary International work environment Opportunity to develop global projects Hybrid working opportunities Modern shared workspaces and equipment   Equal opportunities for all At Döhler we welcome applicants, who are just as diverse as we are - regardless of age, ancestry, disability, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, social background or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations and ordinances.
