GLOBAL EXPERT OF HEALTH AND SAFETY (M/F/D)

Güntner is a global expert and a leading manufacturer of cooling systems with plants across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
In this role, you’ll have to build up global processes and harmonize the regulations on an international level reporting directly to the CEO.
Your tasks and responsibilities Develop and implement adequate safety and environmental programs globally.
Develop implemented and updated Corporate EHS policies and procedure departmental playbooks to promote regulatory compliance, liability risk control, and program continuity.
Create a clear mission / vision / strategy and roadmap towards excellence.
Monitor, track and report key (E)HS Metrics.
Ensure compliance with the policies and mandates enforced by all countries.
Ensure the organization meets legal requirements, regulatory and ethical standards and corporate policies.
Create trust within the organization by disseminating accurate information.
Promote worker well-being not only in the areas of physical and mental health but also in the workers' pursuit of full lives and achieving their full potential.
Develop, implement and monitor safety programs for day-to-day production and to minimize the risks caused by local, national and global emergencies.
Govern and foster HS audit compliance through occupational safety performance standards to validate findings and implement corrective actions.
Support local sides and drive simplicity in safety environment.
Coordinate and lead local HS responsible staff ( colleagues worldwide).
Your profile Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in (E)HS discipline or relevant scientific or engineering field.
10+ years of experience within the (E)HS profession.
Preferred 5+ years of experience managing global HS policies, standards, programs or procedures.
Experience within Operational Management systems and working with corporate clients.
Experience in manufacturing setting is desirable.
Understanding of global and HS legal requirements (i.

Regulations, Codes, Standards, Directives, and Administrative Policies) and provide regulatory knowledge, technical expertise.
Good IT skills (MS Office, ERP system).
Demonstrated leadership experience, influencing and collaboration skills.
Negotiating skills and assertiveness, excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Advice and training skills.
Proactive thinking, target orientation.
Fluent Business English, spoken and written, Spanish is an advantage, but not a must.
Willingness to travel within region plus internationally (approximately 50%).
