We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Sales Leader to join our Siemens Grid Software sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling software as a service (SaaS) solution, with experience in the energy distribution industry.
This is a a Global key role across Europe and LATAM to drive the growth of a Multinational DSO.
The Global Account Director will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets in a global DSO.
Responsibilities.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base in the global DSO Build and maintain strong relationships with customer’s key stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to inform sales strategies and tactics Requirements.
Extensive and validated professional background in software selling, software deal shaping and SaaS business Consistent knowledge of Energy Italian market - Utilities, Oil & Gas and renewable market and experience in dealing with different go to market, from product based to solution-based businesses Excellent communication, influencing and networking skills across all hierarchical levels and especially with C-level customers Experience and attitude to collaborate and build business opportunities through the other sales channels (Channel Partner, Distributors, Service and Verticals) Be a champion in handling complexity and have a successful record of organizational change / Cultural Transformation initiatives Sales operational experience and data driven attitude is a relevant plus Proficiency in Italian and English, Spanish would be a plus Great teammate, strong communication & interpersonal skills Being a role model for openness and inclusiveness as a non-negotiable cultural element Resident in Rome area is a plus What we further offer An inclusive and flexible way of working, with caring for everyone's personal well-being; Flexible Welfare programs and health insurance that can be extended to your family Results-driven organization, where dedication and growth mindset are recognized Opportunities for continuous individualized learning journeys so that you never stop growing and keep on learning Ground breaking tools for remote working and your personal growth Value driven culture.
