FINANCIAL AND M&A ANALYST

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO TAKE CARE OF The Financial and M&A Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating merger and acquisition opportunities. Working closely with the M&A team and other business functions, they will provide detailed financial analysis, support during due diligence, and assist in structuring transactions, contributing to the completion of strategic deals. The main responsibilities include: Financial Analysis: perform analysis and evaluation of merger and acquisition opportunities for target companies, using financial models and valuation methods (DCF, market comparables, precedent transactions). Monitor and analyze the performance of companies post-transaction to assess whether strategic objectives have been achieved. Mapping and Monitoring: conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in existing markets and in new/adjacent markets. Due Diligence: support the due diligence process by identifying and analyzing risks and opportunities associated with transactions; gathering the necessary information to verify the financial, operational, legal, and commercial status of the target company. Documents Arrangement: financial statement analysis, construction of key profitability, financial, and equity ratios, preparation of reclassified financial statements for both individual and consolidated financials; support in the development of Business Plans and valuation activities using various methods; preparation of valuation documents related to new potential extraordinary transactions (information memorandums, management presentations, etc.). Support in Negotiations: negotiate and mediate between the parties involved, analyzing the financial terms of the transaction to secure the best possible conditions. Support teams in negotiations with potential buyers or investors. Financial Modeling: create and maintain complex financial models to simulate different scenarios, evaluate the impact of acquisitions, project future performance, and determine the value of a company. Data Analytics & Reporting: create reports, detailed presentations, and executive summaries for management and stakeholders, summarizing conclusions and recommendations. WHAT WE WISH YOU’D BRING WITH Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in the role, with a focus on M&A, private equity, or investment banking. Excellent knowledge of financial modeling software, familiarity with market analysis tools and financial databases. Strong analytical skills and results-oriented. Skills in drafting clear reports and delivering effective presentations. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Business-proficient English level. Goal-oriented and detail-oriented. Ability to work with internal teams, external consultants, and advisors, and to engage in constructive dialogue. NICE TO HAVE Master or professional certifications (CFA, CPA).
