FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT/CONTROLLER - PIOLTELLO (MI)

· prepare timely internal monthly accounts (profit & loss, balance sheet, cashflows, and analysis) for review by the regional and global accounting teams.
· liaise with external advisors on the preparation of statutory financial information and tax computations.
· oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues including the preparation and submission of information to statutory authorities for payroll, vat and corporation tax.
· provide required information/documentation for internal control evaluations and internal/external audits.
· conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities.
· contribute to decisions regarding financial strategy.
· maintain a good relationship and communicate frequently with operations and management teams.
· provide support to the senior financial controller, specifically during the annual budgeting process.
· participate in the negotiation of contracts (sales and purchases) and policies.
competenze ed esperienza · proven and strong experience as a financial accountant/controller · 4 + years of accounting and finance experience (preferably in the global logistics industry) · accounting qualification (country specific) · expeditors' company policies and procedures · local tax and regulatory knowledge, including statutory chart of accounts (if required in country) · good understanding of business as well as up to date knowledge of accounting rules & regulations (preferably including us gaap) · proficient in ms office, including excel formulas and pivot tables · strong organizational and analytical skills with an attention to the details · proven leadership attitude and skills · ability to drive through change · fluent in english completa l'offerta gross annual salary.
