Under the umbrella of Immunology, the Nordic operating company, focus on Dermatology, Rheumatology and Gastroenterology where we support healthcare professionals and enabling patients to get access to our innovative solutions.
The solutions we offers are within Psoriasis, Psoriasis arthritis and Inflammatory bowel disease.
Introduction and Overview We are now looking for you, to fill the position as a Field Medical Advisor for our Immunology portfolio, with focus on Rheumatology.
The purpose of the role is to improve company product value by being a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing products, patients’ treatment trends and studies in the Rheumatology area with a defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other partners) and to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart and partner.
You will be supporting the current marketed product and future launches of products within Rheumatology.
We are looking for a person with experience from either working in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry or working as a Medical Doctor within the hospital care or a Nurse with PhD with experience from rheumatology research.
Preferably, you also have experience within the field of Immunology and Rheumatology.
We are constantly building strong networks within the scientific innovation ecosystem and your strong strategic and scientific skills will be developed when building relations with new and existing partners.

This position will be based in Sweden and will report to the Therapeutic Area Medical Lead for Immunology & Neuroscience in Sweden.
You will be part of a strong network within the Therapeutic Area across Johnson & Johnson in the Nordics and EMEA.

Coordinate and participate in medical education activities, e.
.
identify, support, and educate speakers as well as build medical education programs with scientific third parties.
Continuously update own knowledge of products, patient’s treatment trends, clinical activities, and studies within the therapeutic area.
Develop and maintain a contact network with leading specialists with focus on understanding their needs, key value drivers, and practical treatment patterns as well as championing the medical value of own products.
Communicate medical scientific data to leading specialists and broader external health care related audience both proactively and reactively.
Collect insights from the therapeutic area through scientific interactions and provide strategic input to the medical affairs plan and business decision-making.
Support and handle medical affairs clinical activities' strategy, planning, design, and execution.
Conduct close collaboration with Global and Nordic Clinical Operations and CROs.
Support Health Economics and Market Access Manager’s (HEMAR) in medical matters.
Improve the use of multi-channel communication and artificial intelligence implementation.
· Thorough cross-functional collaboration with the commercial- and marketing department.
Qualifications What you will need to succeed We are looking for a clear and strong communicator able to make science simple and understandable to external and internal stakeholders.
You have a strong dedication to engage and communicate value to the Rheumatology community.
You need to be naturally inclined to perform work with care, accuracy and quality and bound to follow national and international directions, policies, and legal guidelines.
The candidate is encouraged to have focus on getting results in the light of a multifaceted and sophisticated stakeholder landscape and successfully tackle problems with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset.
To be successful in this role you need to be a team player and proactive in engaging external partners delivering value-based discussions that benefits both Johnson & Johnson and the customer.
You will also need to have an open and flexible attitude with an ability to push for actions despite challenges.
Finally, you also need to be a good colleague willing to support, listen and care.
Qualifications Medical Doctor or advanced university degree within Science or Pharmacy (required).
PhD in life sciences is a merit.
A minimum of 2 years proven industry- or hospital- experience in a medical, clinical or scientific role (preferred).
Prior clinical and/or scientific expertise in Rheumatology (preferred).
Prior experience in working with psoriasis arthritis is a merit.
Strong presentation, communication, and engagement skills (required).
The ability to understand, process, communicate and present scientific information (required).
Proficient in Swedish & English language (required).
Valid car driver’s license and ability to travel (mostly during office hours) approximately 50% of your time (required).
