OUR TEAM To deliver sustainability-compliant technologies, the Centre fosters innovative routes, which include the development of microbial-based processes, advanced materials and electrochemical technologies for CO2 capture, valorization and storage, industrial wastes valorization, as well as for hydrogen production, storage and use.
You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where biotechnologists, material scientists, chemists, engineers collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.
he Advanced Materials for Sustainable Future Technologies Research Unit, coordinated by Prof.
Fabrizio Pirri, is looking for a motivated fellow researcher to work on a project that aims at developing sustainable organic binders for their application in green electrochemical energy storage technology.
In particular, the research activity will focus on the development of innovative bioprocess for the production of polyhydroxyalkanoate and polysaccharides starting from CO2 and diary waste streams through the use of gas fermenting bacteria and microalgae.
