EXPERT DATA ENGINEER

At Eni we are looking for an Expert Data Engineer who, within Plenitu de, will deal with the evolution of data platforms, analyze existing technologies and perimeters, understand their loads, carry out optimizations and sizing.

Within the Data Engineering & Data Platform team you will be responsible for.
Integrate new data flows within existing data platforms Design data models and define the life cycle for data products developed in the company (advanced analytics, machine learning, data serving) Set up services, processes, tools to support the data mesh strategy Validate the solutions so that they comply with the security and compliance requirements defined in the company This is the opportunity for you if you meet these requirements.
Master's degree in STEM; Different and/or lower qualifications and fields of study may be taken into consideration given significant experience in the role At least 3 years of experience in the field Good knowledge of design and familiarity with optimizing and implementing data models for Databricks (pyspark preferential requirement) Good knowledge of design, optimization skills and implementation of robust data pipelines in the cloud (ADF preferred) to implement ingestion pipelines from different sources Knowledge of the main principles of modeling and data approach (dwh, datavault, 3nr, star schema, snowflake, data mesh etc.) Good knowledge of the English language Availability for national and international mobility Work location Milan Type of contract Permanent At Eni we believe in enterprising people, capable of making a difference and contributing with passion and innovation, to respond to the global challenges of the energy transition.
