EVENTS MANAGER AND PROJECT COORDINATOR

This position will report directly to Head of Marketing & Communications. The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for executing social media strategies and campaigns, communicating with students, creating content for social media, organizing events and producing video and photo content. Marketing Coordinator will also collaborate with key players on the Marketing & Communications team and other departments to assist with various projects and campaigns as needed. Job Responsibilities: Coordination with stakeholders: Coordinated will all the relevant stakeholders for event coordination Marketing: Work with the marketing team to promote events. Manage event registration and ticketing. Develop event programs and materials. On-Site Management: Coordinated the setup and arrangements, and event schedules for the event on the day Post-Event Activities: Conduct post-event evaluations. Prepare reports on event outcomes, feedback, and improvement suggestions. Ensure all payments and financial reconciliations are completed. Compliance: Ensure events comply with legal, health, and safety regulations. Execution: Lead project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities. Monitor and manage project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or similar Must have experience working with vendors and organizing large scale events Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing Excellent English writing and communication skills Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite Must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines Working knowledge of design and email software Knowledge and expertise with multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube Ability to deliver creative text, image, and video content Familiar with marketing channels and online marketing strategies Ability to grasp future digital technology trends and act on them proactively Strong attention to detail Please note this position is only available on our Consultancy Agreement.
