The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for an Environmental Supervisor, to join a global leader in construction sector for one of Norway's technical infrastructure projects involving roads, tunnels, bridges, drill and blast works.

Job Role / Responsibilities Monthly report data compilation and reporting Ensure that the design and operation of the project is in accordance with all applicable regulations, standards and permits Training and information for all staff including subcontractors (Environmental training, Environmental Induction, Toolbox talks, etc) Preparation and update of environmental risk assessments with belonging risk-reducing measures, to avoid damage to the environment Ensure Environmental Plans compliance at site Follow up construction work in the field Follow-up of deviations related to environment Perform site environmental inspections and audits and produce respective reports Carry out required environmental monitoring (Air quality, Water Quality, Noise, Soil, etc) Environmental permit applications coordination and follow up its compliance Project The infrastructure project is based on the West Coast of Norway and consist of the construction of several tunnels, bridges and highways, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 3 years.
Requirements >1 year in the role of Environmental management of complex infrastructure works In-depth knowledge of risk assessment issues Incident investigation techniques (ie Tap report) Overview of relevant Norwegian environmental regulations Fluent in Norwegian preferred Benefits/Package Long term project An exciting position in the largest road infrastructure contract in Norway's history Become part of a dedicated team International working environment Competitive salary and benefits Social gatherings ewi is an international consultancy focused on the search & selection of the Worlds leading engineering and construction professionals.
