ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Contracts run from October to mid June with the possibility of renewal for a second year if wished.
Maximum of 25 hours a week mainly afternoon and evening classes.
As an Authorised Cambridge exam centre we are also work closely with state schools offering support to local English teachers and running some afternoon courses for students in state schools.
We also work with local businesses and are planning to expand our range of business and professional courses both online and in person.
The school has multimedia support in every classroom and there are also excellent resource libraries in the 3 centres.
At Red Bus, supporting teachers is central to our core philosophy, we encourage sharing of ideas and materials, peer to peer learning and we also have a programme of workshops and training courses to allow staff to explore new ideas and methods.

Qualifications Native Level English speaker Must be EU national Degree any subject CELTA or online TEFL courses 1 year EFL experience preferable Basic Italian is preferred Driving licence a plus Some experience of the Cambridge exams would be helpful Salary and Benefits Monthly salary starting from E nett and increasing depending on experience One way flight from UK or Europe to Sicily Bonus on completion of contract Help with finding accommodation and contribution to rent Teachers receive approximately 2 weeks of paid holiday at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and all local and national Bank holidays Cover by the Italian National Health System.
