An opportunity to join the R&D team as an Engineering Manager is available.
The role involves managing a team of engineers responsible for the product's technical development, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with other teams and stakeholders.
The Engineering Manager will balance technical leadership, project management, and team development activities, contributing to the overall success of the engineering function within the organization and building the product.
In details.
Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
Set project goals, timelines, and priorities in alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between engineering efforts and overall business objectives.
Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new engineering team members.
Contribute to the development of the technical strategy and roadmap.
Implement and iterate on best practices to enhance team productivity, efficiency and quality of released software.
Work with senior management to manage the engineering budget.
Hard Skills.
At least 10 years of experience in the tech and software development world.
Proven experience leading and overseeing teams of 10 or more people.
Software development background with strong knowledge and experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and Google) Experience with at least one of these technological stacks (TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, React,.
ET, Spring Boot, Node.
s), databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB), DevOps & Infra (Kafka, NATS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git, GitLab, Jira) Preferential experience in a Product company.
