e are seeking a dedicated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Laboratory Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting EMC tests, analysing results, and ensuring that products meet the required standards and regulations for electromagnetic compatibility.
This role combines technical expertise, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of EMC principles to prevent electromagnetic interference and ensure products operate harmoniously in their intended environments.

hat you’ll do.
esign, set up, and conduct EMC tests according to international standards and guidelines.
nalyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and recommend mitigation measures for electromagnetic interference issues.
ollaborate with product development teams to integrate EMC considerations into the design process.
aintain and calibrate EMC testing equipment and facilities to ensure accuracy and reliability of tests.
eep abreast of the latest EMC standards, regulations, and testing methodologies to ensure compliance.
anage EMC certification projects from initiation through completion, liaising with external certification bodies as required.
rovide technical support and advice on EMC issues to engineering and design teams.
articipate in research and development activities aimed at enhancing EMC performance and testing capabilities.
mplement and enforce safety procedures in the laboratory to prevent hazards associated with electromagnetic fields and testing equipment.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
roven experience in an EMC testing laboratory or a similar role.
n-depth knowledge of EMC standards (e.
., CISPR, IEC, EN, FCC) and testing procedures.
roficiency in using EMC test equipment and software tools.
trong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electromagnetic interference issues.
xcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document and present test results and recommendations.
bility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage projects with minimal supervision.
xperience in EMC testing of Washing machines, Driers and Dishwasher is highly desirable.

You will be based in Porcia, located in the metropolitan area of Pordenone (Northeast Italy), where the main Electrolux R&D centre is located.
Here, in a dynamic environment, we develop and test domestic appliances such as Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Washer Dryers and Tumble Dryers.
