As an EDS Engineer you will manage EDS wire harness product design requirements for a prestigious customer, a global vehicle manufacturer.
This challenging role requires a CAD literate, degree qualified engineer with knowledge of EDS/wire harness.
The Role.
-- Manage EDS wire harness products design requirements and support drawing creation, technical problem solving and change tracking, as well as supporting customer activities including launch and mass production from the NPI (new product introduction) perspective.
-- Responsibility for developing the engineering elements, product-wise, of the wire harnesses from project start to vehicle launch/SOP and mass production, including the identification and support to the development and integration of associated components into the harness design towards its production.
-- Support the RFQ process on the product and components definition, as well as any cost reduction activities from the Engineering perspective.
Your Profile.
-- Degree qualified in Engineering and professionally registered with relevant discipline or extensive work experience in the EDS/wire harness field -- Proficient in Siemens NX 2D/3D wiring harness design software, Cabling Designer/VM and HD is also an advantage (Training can be considered for appropriate candidate) -- Good knowledge of wiring harness build and manufacturing processes -- Computer literate in MS office -- Full driving licence required -- Fluent in English language Package.
