DIRECTOR - ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENT FUNDS

We are looking for you - with a keen perception, enthusiasm for the fund market and the topic of real assets. To expand our team for alternative investment funds, we are looking for a Director – Alternative Investment Funds with knowledge of alternative investments to join our office in Frankfurt. Responsibilities: Represents the Head of Alternative Investments in case of absence Acts as communication point-of-contact between Scope Fund Analysis and customers Enhances Scope’s analytical capabilities and methodologies Analyses qualitative and quantitative fund aspects such as structural risks, operational risks, legal and regulatory aspects Monitors existing ratings and if necessary recommends reviews and changes on a timely basis Creates and monitors peer groups Conducts discussions with clients, investors and asset managers, as well as giving presentations, explanations and briefings at a highly professional level Is able and ready to travel and to show flexibility in accepting tasks and duties and carrying them out as directed Works closely with other Alternative Investments team members, staff and management in Scope Fund Analysis and coordinates the workload of junior analysts Produces high-quality, insightful and forward-looking research and analytical comments on a timely basis Informs colleagues in new topics and passes on knowledge within the team Provides guidance to other team members to produce regular performance reports and analyses Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, that reflects analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of Alternative Investments focusing on the private equity and debt sector Extensive knowledge of private markets, such as private equity and private debt, infrastructure and real estate Willingness to take responsibility with an entrepreneurial attitude Independent thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Multi-cultural, collaborative, self-starter, versatile, inquisitive and detail-oriented personality Experience in research writing with strong written and oral communication skills Team player with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to meet deadlines and motivate others to do the same We look forward to learning more about you from your convincing application.
