Job Summary We are excited to welcome an experienced and skilled SEO Manager to our expanding team of professionals at our Milan office. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and maintaining strong client relationships while overseeing the creation, implementation, and optimization of tailored SEO strategies. Your expertise will help our clients achieve their goals by delivering data-driven solutions that align with their business needs. We are seeking candidates with native-level English proficiency or those who are fully fluent in English (C1, C2, or equivalent). While knowledge of Italian is not mandatory for this position, it would be considered a valuable asset. Key Responsibilities Develop excellent relationships with the clients, through developing an in-depth understanding of their businesses, challenges they face, and spotting future opportunities. Perform SEO focused analysis on industry, competitors, keywords and search trends to inform and influence SEO strategy and optimisation proposals. Analyse business requirements and match them with data to propose the best performing SEO project’s solutions. Optimise texts, semantical tags and metadata to better match users’ queries and increase website’s ranking. Monitor site health and directly fix technical issues. Follow pre-launch and launch of new websites from a SEO-compliancy point of view, supporting developers, and creating efficient migration and redirect plans. Develop outreach opportunities, perform backlink analysis and identify and apply a strategic approach to building strong profiles for clients in obtaining new high-quality links. Develop and apply local SEO strategies, including managing GMB accounts, analysing the performance, and producing content. Deliver best practice SEO across Google’s YouTube Channel and support with video content strategies with SEO performance focus. Plan, attend and lead client meetings, QBRs and annual reviews. Qualifications 6+ years of previous track record in SEO. Working knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms and up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO. Skilled at using various CMS for administrating meta changes, copy changes, links and image tagging. A passion for Digital Marketing, innovative digital solutions, and uncovering trends in data with analysis. High level of proficiency in MS Office. Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic industry. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and other web programming platforms would be considered a plus. Combined experience of working in an agency environment and as a freelance would be considered a plus. A second or even a third language would be highly favorable (e.g. Italian, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Scandinavian languages, etc.).
