DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST JOB PURPOSE/ROLE We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist with strong expertise in the development of digital projects and tools.
The candidate will play a key role in designing customer journeys, creating cross-selling pathways, and developing tools and sales campaigns aimed at maximizing customer engagement and conversion.
The ideal candidate also will have a deep understanding of lead generation strategies, particularly in contexts where the insurance agent plays a central role in the customer journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Development and Implementation of Digital Strategies.
• Plan and execute digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility, with a particular focus on SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop innovative digital projects and tools that enhance user experience and lead conversion.
• Using key tools from the Adobe Suite Adobe Campaign, Target, Analytics, and Adobe CDP (Customer Data Platform) Lead Generation and Agent Support.
• Design, execute, and optimize lead generation campaigns specifically tailored to support insurance agents in acquiring new customers.
• Develop digital tools and platforms that empower agents to manage leads more effectively, including automated communication tools, and personalized content.
Sales Tool and Campaign Development.
• Develop and manage digital tools and platforms that support sales initiatives, such as online calculators, quote generators, and self-service portals, designed to be used by both customers and agents.
• Design and execute targeted sales campaigns that leverage digital channels to promote specific insurance products or services, with a focus on enhancing agent-driven sales.
• Collaborate with sales teams and agents to align digital marketing efforts with broader sales strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to customer engagement.
Web Traffic Optimization • Develop strategies to increase traffic to company websites, improving organic rankings and implementing paid media tactics.
• Manage and monitor website performance, ensuring an optimal user experience and effective sales funnel management.
• Use digital analytics tools (Adobe Analilytics, SEMrush, etc.) to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), generate reports, provide data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing activities and propose new initiatives.
Digital Project Management • Coordinate the development of new digital tools in collaboration with technical and product teams, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Continuously update the website content and features, ensuring brand consistency and effective communication.
• supervision and implementation of the development of digital insurance tools, such as apps and online platforms to support the end customer and the sales network Collaboration and Communication • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for the execution of digital campaigns.
These responsibilities help the insurance company stay competitive in the ever-changing market and offer more convenient and efficient services to customers and agents.
KEY REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Economics, or related fields.
• Proven experience of at least 4-6 years in similar roles in digital marketing, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.
• Experience in international contexts would be a plus • Good skills in SEO, SEM, Google Ads, social media marketing, email marketing, and web analytics tools.
• Experience in managing digital projects and developing tools focused on lead generation, traffic optimization, and sales support.
• Good understanding of the specific priorities of the retail business and the support required from the marketing function • Strong project management skills, including an ability to move projects forward in a complex environment with a focus on delivery and an ability to coordinate and liaise with multiple stakeholders in an international and complex structure • Experience in the development of messaging, value propositions and marketing content • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail • Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication skills • Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
