Brain Technologies is searching for: Digital Hardware Engineer Our team works on pivotal projects that drive forward defense capabilities, providing reliable and advanced digital hardware systems to our clients. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Digital Hardware Engineer to join our defense sector team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of advanced digital hardware systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop digital hardware systems, ensuring compliance with RTCA/DO-254 development cycles. Create detailed schematics using schematic entry tools, preferably Mentor Dx Designer. Perform high-speed PCB layout and ensure signal integrity. Conduct hardware simulations and validations to confirm system performance and reliability. Develop and test firmware for FPGA platforms, including Xilinx and Intel. Utilize development tools such as VIVADO, Quartus II, and QuestaSim for FPGA development. Use laboratory instrumentation for hardware testing and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware, software, and firmware. Document design processes, test results, and project progress comprehensively. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in digital hardware design. Location: Milano Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Extensive experience in digital hardware design, preferably in the defense sector. In-depth knowledge of RTCA/DO-254 hardware development cycles. Proficiency in schematic entry tools, with a preference for Mentor Dx Designer. Competence in using laboratory instruments for hardware testing and debugging. Expertise in firmware development for FPGA platforms, specifically Xilinx and Intel. Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as VIVADO, Quartus II, and QuestaSim. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
