About the role   The Data Science Intern will get an overall experience of working as a Data Scientist within Boston Scientific.
The Role aims to give an opportunity for the candidate in executing a end-to-end Data Science Project – mostly from project Scoping to Exploratory Data Analysis to Model building and model evaluation.
What will your responsibilities be.
Perform primary data analysis of our data.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Work with the team to improve data quality and data governance.
Apply a mixture of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to produce business insights that improves customer experience and product offerings.
Present findings to business owners and stakeholder.
Translate business questions into data resolutions and stories for non-technical stakeholders.
What are we looking for in you.
Background studies in Data Analysis, Data Science, Statistics or similar roles Strong knowledge of and experience in (academic experience or internship) reporting packages (such as Tableau, Qlik etc), databases (SQL), programming (such as R, Python etc) Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyse datasets (using Excel, SPSS, SAS, R or Python etc) Technical expertise such as data models, data mining and segmentation techniques are desirable Precise, a keen eye for detail and for numbers A willingness to learn & upskill constantly, curious by nature Strong team player with a solution focused attitude Great opportunity to be a part of global organisation Our Analytics team is very ambitious, the analytics needs will very soon be transitioning to advanced analytics.
