Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Operations team as we enhance and optimize our data architecture.
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, with a focus on automating data updates and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of our SQL-based data lake.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, facilitating data-driven decision-making and contributing to the development of data-driven strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent technical skills in Python and SQL, and a keen interest in the business aspect of our operations.
Responsibilities.
• Design, build, and maintain our data architecture, ensuring the seamless flow and integration of data across various systems and platforms.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate data updates, quality checks, and data transformations, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into actionable insights, KPIs, and business metrics.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, generating valuable insights to support business decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven strategies, leveraging your understanding of both data analytics and business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, operations, and finance to ensure data governance, data integrity, and security.
• Communicate data findings, insights, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with new developments in data analysis, technology, and industry best practices, actively seeking opportunities for continuous learning and improvement.
• Suggest new applications of AI and Machine Learning based on intimacy with data and operational processes Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
A master's degree is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in building and maintaining SQL-based data lakes and automating data processes using Python scripts.
• Solid understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, extracting insights from complex datasets, and producing KPIs and business metrics.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, assess, and interpret large volumes of data effectively.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data insights with organizational goals and strategy.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.
., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis tools is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
