As they continue to expand, they are looking for a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead Research & Development (R&D), innovation strategy, and product engineering.
This role will oversee the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of its sector.
Reporting directly to the General Director, the CTO will play a critical role in shaping the technological vision, driving new product innovation, and optimizing existing solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
Job Description Define and execute the company's technology and product development strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Lead R&D and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Oversee new product development (NPD) and enhancements, ensuring competitive, high-quality, and cost-efficient solutions.
Keep up emerging trends in automation, AI, and industrial IoT, integrating cutting-edge technologies into product designs.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications, implementing practices for safety and reliability.
Collaborate with operations, sales, and marketing teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
Optimize product design and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Establish and manage technology partnerships with universities, research institutions, and external partners.
Oversee intellectual property (IP) strategy, including patents and technology roadmaps.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, including software development, automation control, and smart manufacturing.
The Successful Applicant Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
Extensive experience in industrial automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing technologies.
Strong expertise in machine design, embedded systems, and control systems.
Proven track record of leading R&D teams and large-scale product development projects.
Experience in Project Management, Design to Cost, and Lean Engineering principles.
Knowledge of software and hardware integration, including PLCs, sensors, and industrial networking.
Leadership capabilities with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
Fluency in English.
