CSA SME - Pharmaceutical - 12-Month Contract This is a fantastic opportunity for a CSA SME to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities.
Ensure the construction quality of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works during the project’s construction phase, maintaining compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of CSA works, identifying any quality issues and ensuring they are rectified according to project standards.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure proper execution of CSA works.
Review construction drawings and specifications related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural aspects to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
Provide expert advice on construction methods and best practices related to CSA works to enhance quality control.
Document and report findings from site inspections, highlighting areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving CSA-related construction quality issues as they arise.
Qualifications.
5-10 years of experience in CSA construction quality, preferably within a regulated industry (manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, etc.).
Strong understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works in large-scale capital projects.
Demonstrated experience in overseeing construction quality for CSA works.
Excellent knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and regulatory compliance in construction.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot and address construction quality issues proactively.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, working well with diverse teams and stakeholders on site.
Familiarity with quality control processes, site inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Ability to analyze construction drawings and documentation for accuracy.
Experience with construction quality tools and processes is a plus.
Preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus, though not required.
Experience working on capital projects in highly regulated industries.
