CONSTRUCTION SAFETY QA DIRECTOR

Roles & Responsibility Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program for the entire duration of the $1 billion pharmaceutical capital project.
Champion a safety-first culture, fostering awareness and accountability among all project stakeholders.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Establish and enforce a rigorous quality assurance framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with construction teams to integrate quality measures into project plans and processes.
Conduct quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with established standards.
Stay current with safety regulations and standards applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
Liaise with regulatory affairs teams to ensure alignment with safety and quality requirements.
Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory approvals related to safety and quality assurance.
Identify and assess potential safety and quality risks associated with construction activities.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Extensive experience in construction safety and quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, including a successful track record in leading large-scale capital projects.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards, and quality assurance best practices.
Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or similar are highly desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire a safety-focused culture.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contractors.
