COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR - HONG KONG, MACAU & TAIWAN

Job Responsibilities Purpose • Develop and oversee sales and trade marketing functions, ensuring the department employees, sales plan and strategies are organized to achieve sales goals • Drive sustainable sales and market growth for the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan markets by taking full accountability for all business partners, retailers, market shares, sales, profit, and all associated KPI’s and metrics for our brands • Empower, engage, and build talents relentlessly within the team for future business needs Principle Accountabilities Commercial • Deliver the yearly sales budget targets for all assigned channels and core categories • Maintain strong relationships with current clients and pursue new business development opportunities • Supervise the development of the overall Key Accounts / Distributors strategic plan to achieve yearly budget targets • Define and develop the yearly budget and monthly forecasts, according to the Group guidelines • Set pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability and market shares • Manage the commercial conditions with the clients in order to maximize the business profitability • Analyze market trends and competitor in order to explore new business opportunities to sustain overall Key Accounts growth • Negotiate terms and agreements with new partners, renew or terminate existing partners according to business performance/needs.
Regular reviews on implementation of contracts, trademark matters, and development of new agreements.
Ensure legal compliance with contracts by our company and all partners Retail Operation Management • Supervise the Head of KA in leading teams of Trade Marketing & Merchandising and Promoters • Define the local Trade Marketing spending within the approved budget • Lead the development of the Trade Marketing strategy to maximize the in store presence • Supervise the in-store execution to ensure strong visibility for our brand and perfect execution excellence • Supervise the category portfolio management streamlining the number of SKUs to optimize business efficiency as well as to prioritize and accelerate business growth • Drive promoter team performance via enhancing promoter incentive scheme, manpower management, product knowledge, and in-store execution • Control of the expenses with the yearly budget assigned Customer Care and Back Office • Lead and supervise the Customer Care team to deliver world-class support and service to the customers • Lead and supervise the Back Office team to ensure on time and efficient order processing Key Interface – Internal/ External Internal • CEO • Brand team • Sales team • Promoter team • Customer Care team • Supply Chain & Logistic team • Finance team • HR & Admin team • IT team External • Key Accounts • Distributors • Marketing agencies • Customer Service agencies Job Profile Qualifications & Experience • At least 15 years’ proven track record with international brands whilst working in a variety of Sales, Retailing, Category management and leadership roles • Experience in managing key account and distributor business models, where execution is owned and delivered by own or via 3rd parties • Strong financial understanding with experience in P&L management and delivering multiple KPI’s • Business acumen – must have a clear identifiable track record of success and achievements • Ability to determine and drive profitable growth through leadership, influencing, executing and evaluating key strategies and plans • Key role model and ambassador in driving mind-set and capability changes (internally & externally) • Determined and self-motivated with passion for goal delivery • Strategic thinker with excellent planning and organisation skills • Able to integrate and influence cross-functionally and cross-culturally at all levels within the business • Exceptional team player with strong leadership and communications skills • PC literate.
