ENVISION YOUR FUTURE JOB We are looking for young, motivated, curious and enterprising talents to join us at our Operations Headquarter in Agordo (BL), where the history of our Company got started.
As Color and Appearance Engineer you will join our Technical Office, specifically the “Advanced Research on Colours and Appearances” area, which is part of the Engineering Area of EssilorLuxottica.
Focus will be on color industrialization for NPI workflow, with the following responsibilities.
Define process routers of NPI models, to ensure correct appearances on new products as requested by the Designer team; Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Manufacturing departments to guarantee the NPI schedule is on track; Keep a consistent emphasis on the efficiency and output of color processes, while being attentive to technological advancements in machinery and methods; Employ color measurement instruments and software to ensure accurate color reproduction; Collaborate with Product Development and Color Engineer teams to create innovative color solutions; Conduct quality control checks to ensure color consistency and accuracy.
PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE You do not see problems, you just see solutions; You love challenges and you take your responsibility seriously; You are graduated in Color Science, Science in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Science in Chemistry, Science in Industrial Chemistry, Science in Chemical Engineering, Science in Industrial Design, or a related field; You have a strong understanding of color theory and practical applications; You have a strong experience in color processes for industrial application; You have an experience with color measurement tools and software; You are a flexible person, able to adapt in a contest of constant change; You can proactively organize your time and activities to get things done.
