CLOUD OPERATIONS ENGINEER SENIOR JOB DETAILS | KÖRBER GROUP

The Cloud Operations Engineer specializes in administration of environment infrastructure, inclusive of application and network hardware resources.
Develops and manages a patching schedule and response to identified incidents from both production and non-production environments.
Collaborates with product feature development teams to create run books, ‘night of deployment’ manuals, and contact lists prior to releasing new and/or enhanced features to production.
This role is part of the overall Infrastructure Domain within the Körber OneIT matrix organization.
Responsibilities Configuration and infrastructure management with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform Executing and troubleshooting SaaS application deployment procedures Development of and continual improvement of automation and procedures Analysing and supporting infrastructure in AWS/Azure Monitoring system performance and recommend corrective action.
Documenting current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation Collaborate with team leads, engineers, and support staff to ensure continuous and reliable delivery of service Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures   Qualifications Associates Degree in a related field (Networking, Software Development, Database Administration) Knowledge of Window or Linux based systems including Hardware, software, networking and storage 1+ year of cloud implementations & operational support of a cloud ecosystem at Enterprise scale with Microsoft Azure or AWS Knowledge of ITSM processes and tooling (ServiceNow, other)   Knowledge of or desire to learn.
Scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Powershell AWS or Azure Git, GitHub, and related Pipelines and IaC   Personal Skills & Behaviors Team player with a positive attitude, while being capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal/written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
