As a member of the Strategic Robotics R&D team you will join us on our journey to design and build one of the world's most advanced medical robotic platforms.
You will have the opportunity to understand user needs, establish clinical and engineering requirements, consider clinical risks, and identify solutions to guide product development.
This role offers high autonomy and growth opportunities within the team as we progress towards realizing our vision.
Key Responsibilities.
Use clinical and technical skills to collaborate with a cross-functional team to discover, define and develop a new product Research relevant disease states, treatment options, patient pathways, surgical techniques, and competitive technologies Discover unmet clinical needs, establish customer requirements and provide clinical input to engineering design requirements Develop test models and test methods for clinically relevant product evaluations Collaborate with physicians and key clinical users on procedure development and understanding product feedback Create and document new product clinical use workflows, assess clinical hazards, and propose potential mitigations Qualifications Required Qualifications.
Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering Program, pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree, or in biomedical/bioengineering, mechanical, systems engineering or equivalent.
Showcase a proven track record of effectively and clearly communicating concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other engineers and teams Preferred Qualifications.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Have experience in developing pre-clinical engineering studies Have experience constructing customer and engineering design requirements Familiarity with medical terminology and a strong understanding of anatomy The anticipated base pay for this position for candidates in a Robotics discipline is Sophomore $/hr, Junior $/hr, Senior $/hr, Masters $/hr, PhD $/hr.
The anticipated base pay for this position for candidates in other Engineering disciplines (not Robotics) is Sophomore $/hr, Junior $/hr, Senior $/hr, Masters $/hr, PhD $/hr.
This position is ineligible for severance.
