BACKEND DEVELOPER (QT/C++, LINUX, CROSS-COMPILATION)

Designers, human factors experts, and engineers work side by side to create optimal interactions with technological solutions—whether visual, physical, vocal, or gestural. In doing so, we leverage our solid expertise in interaction and visual design, ergonomics, and human factors, as well as in software, firmware, and hardware development for HMI. We are seeking an experienced backend developer skilled in Qt/C++ and with strong Linux expertise to work on a key project in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex development environments, including cross-compilation, and will be able to work independently on critical backend tasks. Responsibilities : Develop, optimize, and maintain the backend system using Qt and C++ Manage cross-compilation of code for various target environments Use tools such as CMake for build process management Execute commands and scripts in Linux terminal for configuration and debugging Utilize SSH protocol for remote server access and management, deployment, and debugging Use GDB for advanced debugging of complex C++ applications Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure proper integration between project components Proven experience in backend application development with C++ and Qt in a Linux environment Advanced knowledge of CMake and cross-compilation for embedded platforms or other specific targets Proficiency in using Linux terminal commands for development environment control and configuration Familiarity with SSH protocol for remote server access and management Ability to use GDB for debugging complex C++ applications Knowledge of version control systems such as Git Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications : Experience in the automotive sector or related industrial production fields Familiarity with embedded environments Knowledge of additional backend technologies and modern software architectures Full Time Hybrid, In Reggio Emilia Our company is dedicated to conducting its business with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
