Job Description We are looking for an  Area Sales Manager Salomon (Milano and North of Italy)  to.
Drive sales and promotes the brand to achieve significant sales targets for Salomon  Ensure an exceptional consumer experience at his / her assigned accounts and OMNI channel touch points Build partnerships with key specialty sporting goods retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both Salomon and the retailer You will work in close collaboration with our Market Manager, Area Sales Manager's, Customer Service, Shopper Marketing Manager, Influencer Marketing Manager.
You will report directly to the Market Manager  Main Activities.
Sales & Distribution Achieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory Develop a seasonal “game plan” to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and priorities Builds, presents and coordinates seasonal Joint Business / Marketing plans with assigned Premium Partners that deliver on strategic objectives of Salomon and maximizes consumer preference and brand experience Meet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution Identify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunities Take care of all the customer related topics - sales and accounting aspects Sell Thru & Consumer Experience Ensures a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge (Shop Pro Training) for store employees in Premium Partner and selected category specialty doors for a best-in-class consumer experience Increase and maximize Salomon in-store brand visibility and image thru defined product assortments and seasonal key story packages Manages and executes local consumer activation's / events in Premium Partner Network as required Coordinates a seamless sell-thru execution, utilizing internal resources (shopper, customer service, IMM) Relationship Develop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each account Develop and maintain close cooperation with Salomon ASM community Develop and maintain relationship with local sports environment / community (clubs, resorts, event) Reporting Prepare and review customer performance report on seasonal basis Analyze and report competitor distribution, in-store presence and offer Information to Market Manager of trade related information on an ongoing basis Complete all reports and records required and submit on a timely basis Shares best practice across sales and marketing team Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience  At least 2 to  5 years of experience in sales with a strong Sporting Goods expertise.
Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed.
Communication and Presentation skills Sell Through Activation In Store and Events Retail Maths and analytical skills Negotiation and solution-selling, managing objections Essential Competencies  Drive for results.

Desired Qualifications  Education.
High school level education minimum / Degree level ideally Languages.

Microsoft office – strong excel skills, Sales Tools (sales portal, B2B, SFA) Additional Information Fixed term until , full-time field based, Italy preferred area.
Milano Company car  Driving licence mandatory
