As an Apprentice Site Manager, you will gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge in managing construction sites. Under the mentorship of experienced professionals, you will learn to oversee site operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects whilst we sponsor and support you to complete the Site Manager Apprenticeship NVQ 6 in partnership with the University College of Estate Management. Many of our longest serving and most experienced employees began their professional careers on the programme, and continue to develop aspiring futures within the company. The practical skills you will develop: Assist in the planning and coordination of on-site activities. Support the Site Manager in overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is carried out to high standards. Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on site. Help manage site documentation, including reports, schedules, and quality control records. Participate in site meetings and liaise with project stakeholders. Assist with the procurement and management of materials and equipment. Learn to identify and resolve any issues that may arise on site promptly. Qualifications: A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English. A keen interest in the construction industry and site management. Communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
