No Offer Description The modeling of a heated vaping system includes the modeling of different types of heaters used in such systems, such as resistive pin heaters, resistive tube heating, and infrared heating. The airflow through the device must be modeled to ensure that the air reaching the stick has the correct temperature and flow rate. Heat transfer within and through the consumable stick is modeled to capture conduction, convection, and radiation, helping to determine the precise internal and external temperatures. The system allows for the analysis of temperatures in all components of the consumable stick, including the temperature of the vapor exiting the stick. The work will be carried out using OpenFOAM. Main Requirements Degree (with a course duration of not less than 4 years) or post-graduate degrees awarded by Italian or foreign Universities recognized as equivalent. Candidates must provide necessary documentation for qualification assessment. Scientific or professional curriculum suitable for conducting the research activity. If available, any Ph.D. title. Knowledge of OpenFOAM software.
