The proposal is completed by a collection of apparel and accessories of the leading sportswear brand and by two private clothing labels. The ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR will be placed within the Finance Europe Team, with a specific focus for the Italian and Spanish subsidiaries where we are present with the BATA and AW LAB brands. The resource will play a key role in supporting the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, actively contributing to the transformation process the department is going through. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including processing invoices, handling payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. In terms of the transformation, the candidate will act as project manager for the new ERP implementation and as primary actor of the change. KEY CHALLENGES Active and passive cycle General accounting entries and monthly accruals Monthly accounting closing process Intercompany process management involving transfer pricing activities Group reporting preparation Travel coordination Verification of adequacy of processes based on company policies Active involvement in financial statement audits Active involvement in ERP change project CORE COMPETENCIES Delivers in consistent way following his department priorities, respecting the deadlines Pursues quality in accomplishing tasks paying attention to details and verifying information Accuracy and precision Attention to deadlines Works well with other departments Knows how to deal with people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility Problem solving Advanced knowledge of excel Experience with MS Dynamics is a nice to have LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY Italian Good knowledge of English Good knowledge of Spanish nice to have LOCATION Limena (PD) Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period
