The part-time Accounting Associate will be responsible for processing invoices and the daily AP registrations in our ERP system in addition to any other tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager to provide accounting and financials support services for Arper USA, Inc. The role will be based in High Point, North Carolina out of our manufacturing site with expectation of reporting onsite for work 3-4 days and/or 20-35 hours weekly. RESPONSIBILITY · Receiving and enter supplier invoices in the system, making sure that reporting period and all relevant information are entered correctly (both 3-way-match and manual entries) · Preparing weekly payment of open invoices and mail them to necessary locations · Resolving all issues about AP (quote/invoice discrepancy, missing invoices, lost payments etc.) · Printing bar codes and matching the invoices · Scanning invoices to the server · Completing cost analysis · Filing documents · Any other work task specified by the Accounting Manager QUALIFICATIONS · Previous experience in a similar position · Major in accounting or similar preferred · Attention to detail, organization and multitasking a must · Excellent computer knowledge, especially Outlook, Word and Excel · Previous experience with an ERP system such as JD Edwards, SAP, AS400 etc. YOUR PERSONALITY · Be an enterprise-level problem solver having a can-do, solution-oriented mindset; focus on how to drive to the best possible outcome. · Be relentless, resourceful, and entrepreneurial; with a commitment to continuous improvement. · Drive impact through inquiry; ask probing questions and push others to be and do their best. · Be nimble and flexible; adapt quickly to changing circumstances or new insights. · Be comfortable with risk; know that the biggest risk often comes from inaction rather than from getting it wrong. · Operate in a prioritized fashion; know what you are trying to get done and focus your resources. · Be in the details and hands on; think strategically but drive to action.
