If this is a vision you can lead and deliver, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Academic Dean. You will lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning across the college’s programmes, ensuring high standards of academic quality which prepares our talented students for meaningful and sustainable careers in music and entertainment. Success in this role will be measured by us meeting and consistently exceeding sector benchmarks in engagement, retention, student satisfaction and progression into high skilled employment in the music industry. Your main responsibilities will include the following: Academic Leadership Teaching Excellence & Quality Assurance Curriculum Development KPI Management Staff Development Student Experience and Success External Engagement Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within an educational institution Experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and staff development Significant experience in teaching within the arts and humanities Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative teaching and learning approaches A minimum of a postgraduate award in a relevant field (e.g., music education, higher education, curriculum development).
