In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on basic and detail engineering of thermal power plants including: Working in a team to prepare proposals and executing projects Supporting management for developing new clients and markets Preparation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and thermodynamic models Equipment technical specification and evaluation of proposals Technical coordination of a design team taking care of the schedule of projects and assuring quality of products Reporting on design progress and project management of commissions within agreed programmes Ensuring compliance with construction (design and management) regulations Join us as a graduate mechanical engineer based in our Genoa office, and you will have the option to work within either of the following areas: Energy Networks – Substation Design: You will have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing team expert in the design of electrical substations from transmission to distribution voltage level. Energy Generation – Thermal Generation: You will have the opportunity to work on the detail design works and OE services for power plants including renewables. Candidate Specification To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a master's degree (obtained no earlier than 2023 ) or are expected to achieve one in mechanical engineering. We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics: Methodical approach to problem solving. Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently. Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. Fluent in Italian and English. Willingness to travel short and long term.
