The EMEA adventure began in 2016 with the acquisition of Bruni Glass, a company with over 40 years of experience in the supply of high-quality glass packaging for the wine, spirits, food, gourmet and home fragrances markets. Since then, the presence in Europe has significantly expanded through strategic acquisitions leading to the creation of Berlin Packaging EMEA. It is now present in 15 countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Specialist to join our team in Trezzano. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant IT experience and be part of the EMEA ServiceDesk team, providing 2nd-level technical support while ensuring smooth operations in applications, networks, and systems. You will respond to security and network alerts, manage IT assets, and maintain a user-friendly environment for our colleagues. Key Responsibilities: Provide 2nd-level support as part of the EMEA ServiceDesk Troubleshoot applications, networks, and systems to resolve issues promptly React to security alerts and network/server warnings effectively Ensure asset management processes are correctly implemented within IT tools Participate in on-site shifts in Trezzano, Italy Availability to travel up to 50% of the week as needed Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or a similar role Experience with Active Directory user management Printer server and DHCP management Troubleshooting Windows 11, 10 and Microsoft 365 applications Understanding of VDI Virtual Desktop Infrastructrure platforms, such as VM Ware Horizon or Citrix Workspace Awareness of Cybersecurity principles applied to the day by day users operations and system administrative tasks Familiar with rack and stack procedures for hardware setups Strong problem-solving skills and a “can do” attitude Friendly and welcoming demeanor when assisting users Prefered Traits: Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities If you're looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced IT environment and have the skills required, we'd love to hear from you.
