Be one of our change-makers and join the success story as a : The Opportunity : Our Service Line Specialists (SLS) are critical to Cognizant’s approach of Consultative Selling. They provide deep expertise in a Service Line and work with the Client Leadership Team to close new and expansion opportunities on accounts. They are actively involved in growing the service line’s footprint and working with the Account team to engage clients with opportunities. SLS are trusted advisors with a good mix of strategic and tactical management experience. Your Key Responsibilities: The Service Line Specialist will join our service line named Cognizant Infrastructures Services and will focus on: Cloud and Infrastructure Services AWS Business Group Microsoft Business Group Google Business Group ServiceNow Business Group You will have business development and sales responsibilities including identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities within Cloud & Infrastructures. Here are the detailed responsibilities: Market Leadership: • Lead and champion Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure and Platform offerings in France & Southern Europe • Collaborate across various Cognizant practices and offerings in AI, Data, IoT and Applications to ensure world-class digital innovation • Achieve annual sales and revenue targets in the assigned markets and accounts • Work closely with Client Partners and overall team to develop and execute client strategy • Provide subject matter expertise to proposal development and overall solution. Relationship Management: • Execute and manage the account plan in collaboration with the account teams • Invest time in strengthening existing client relationships. Participate in reviews and provide relevant perspectives. • Manage Client relationship: engage with CXO, VP and Director level clients Business Development: • Respond to and deliver on client requests; respond to RFPs. • Identify opportunities, make proactive proposals to client in line with account strategy. • Obtain appropriate approvals to pursue opportunities. • Lead pursuits as a pursuit owner to close new and expansion opportunities related to Infrastructures, working closely with Client Leadership Team. • Engage the relevant internal Cognizant teams and service lines team for developing solutions. • Participate in key Account management activities for designated accounts including account forecasting, budgeting and operations. • Create and present account pipeline; QBR presentations and executive status reports. Your Qualification and Experience: • Master or Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, and/or management related field • 10+ years of experience in a senior-level client-facing role or account manager role • Strong track record in selling in one or more of the following areas: o Cloud/Infrastructure/ITO – deep experience across a mix of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid, ServiceNow) and/or technology infrastructure models (Digital workplace/EUC, data center, managed services, service management) o AWS – experience selling AWS-based (or IaaS) solutions, preferably large deals. Relationship with AWS alliance executives. o Microsoft – experience selling Microsoft Azure-based (or IaaS) solutions, preferably large deals. Relationship with Microsoft alliance executives. • Recent experience working for IT professional services firm(s) • Good understanding/connects within France market and the Southern European (Spain, Italy, Portugal) one • Recent experience managing global sales and service delivery model(s) • Understanding drivers and enablers of digital transformation within companies, e.g., Data, Applications, Cloud • Excellent problem solving, business communication (written & oral), and client management skills • Ability to build client relationships; strengthening partnerships by focusing on exceptional client experience, risk management and value realization. • Experience developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high priority deals, and winning new business in line with agreed targets. • Experience and track record in winning new deals in customer account • Conflict/issue resolution mindset, strategic and critical thinking and ownership, particularly with highly diverse teams • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and highly matrixed environment. • Fluent written and spoken French and English.
