We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Research and Development team at Johnson & Johnson Vision.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will play a vital role in advancing our scientific understanding and technological innovations in the field of eye care.
Key Responsibilities.
Conduct independent research projects and/or in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including software, system engineering, mechanical design, and advanced research, focused on advancing eye care technologies.
Design and implement experimental protocols, utilizing your strong hands-on skills to develop and improve prototypes for novel medical devices.
Perform rigorous data analysis using advanced statistical methods and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Utilize analytical modeling techniques to simulate and optimize the mechanical behavior of ocular structures.
Apply your expertise in animal tissue handling to develop and refine in vitro and in vivo models for preclinical testing.

Qualifications Education.

in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field Degree must have been received in the last 3 years or by the start date of this role for current Students Required.
Proven track record of research excellence Strong hands-on experimental skills, including expertise in prototyping experimental setups and data analysis Strong publication record demonstrating expertise in experimental design and data analysis Proficient in programming languages commonly used in scientific research (e.
., MATLAB, Python) Proficiency in analytical modeling such as finite element analysis modeling, preferably in the context of eye structures, biomechanics, and/or human tissues Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present research findings Interest and experience working with medical devices Permanently authorized to work in the U.

Experience working with animal tissue, including handling and processing The salary for this position is $/year, this position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.
This is a two year duration based role that has eligibility for severance.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
