MARKETING & COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

The Marketing & Communications Specialist is a new position in our firm, which in time will be expanded to a Clients & Markets Team, for a dynamic and experienced professional. This key role will drive the external profile of our firm, enhancing our brand across various platforms and industries. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and exceptional English writing skills, with a strong ability to craft content that resonates with diverse audiences by distilling complex topics into relatable messaging. This individual will excel at developing and delivering original ideas for content, drafting deliverables and working collaboratively with colleagues to improve upon existing content. Deliverables will include, but not be limited to, marketing collateral and other client-facing pieces, internal communication, articles for third-party publication, website content, brochures, award nominations, social posts, presentations, reports, and external newsletters. Key Responsibilities : Content Creation & Strategy: Managing high-quality, engaging content tailored to various practice areas, ensuring alignment with the firm’s brand and marketing strategies. This includes coordinating client events, newsletters, crafting compelling social media posts in close collaboration with the communications team, press releases, blog posts, newsletters, lawyer profiles inc managing CV & Biography repository, and articles. Business Development: Collaborate with practice leaders to produce business development materials that showcase firm and practice-specific achievements. Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including direct mailers and email drip campaigns, with a focus on the legal and cyber sectors. Research & Analysis: Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs. Use this information to craft insightful content and identify opportunities for speaking engagements, sponsorships, and other visibility initiatives. Project Management: Manage content calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate submissions for legal directories, awards, and ranking publications. Oversee the production of podcasts, including scripting based on market trends and guest coordination, and ensure seamless distribution across platforms. Social Media & Digital Presence: Knowledge of different advertising platforms and optimizing advertising budget. Provide strategic advice and hands-on support to individual lawyers and teams on leveraging social media for brand enhancement. Ensure all digital content adheres to SEO best practices. Corporate Communications: Develop an internal communication strategy to develop a sense of corporate identity and adherence to ICTLC values. Establish appropriate channels of communication with ICTLC collaborators for official communications, business-related news and more general information. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, Law, or a related field. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment in the data protection field. Exceptional English and Italian writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an ability to distill complex topics into clear, engaging content. Demonstrated expertise in digital and social media marketing, with knowledge of SEO best practices. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels, from junior staff to senior partners. Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and an established network within the legal industry is a plus. Why join us?
