We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer with in-depth experience in container orchestration and infrastructure automation to join our client’s team, a global leader in financial services.
In this role, you will manage, optimize, and secure large-scale Kubernetes environments to support mission-critical applications and services.
Your expertise in Kubernetes and supporting technologies will help ensure a reliable, efficient, and scalable infrastructure that meets industry standards for performance and security.

Python, Bash   Key Responsibilities.
Design, deploy, and manage highly available Kubernetes clusters to support containerized applications and ensure optimal performance across development, staging, and production environments.
Build, configure, and manage Docker containers, ensuring smooth deployment and scalability for diverse applications.
Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
Create and optimize scripts in Python and Bash to support automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks, enhancing operational efficiency.
Monitor Kubernetes clusters, analyze performance metrics, and implement optimizations to ensure consistent reliability and high availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and maintain operational stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing expertise on containerization best practices and assisting with implementation of DevOps workflows.
Document Kubernetes and container processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures, contributing to team knowledge and operational continuity.
Participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations and handle critical issues as needed.
Ideal Qualifications.
Proven experience as a Kubernetes Engineer or similar role, with deep knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
Proficiency in using Ansible for automation, along with scripting skills in Python and Bash.
Strong understanding of container orchestration, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD principles.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for Kubernetes environments, with experience in performance tuning.
Expertise in Linux operating systems, IT systems security and networks.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to maintaining robust and secure systems.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with development, operations, and business teams.
Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications.
Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for Kubernetes deployments.
Background in high-scale, regulated environments, with knowledge of security and compliance standards.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, and experience working in agile environments.
