Job Summary Details of position * 24 teaching hours per week from Monday to Friday afternoons * On-site lessons with pupils of different ages and levels * Preparing students for the full range of Cambridge exams * Online lessons are also offered The chosen candidate.
* will be reliable, dynamic, adaptable and hard-working * will be able to deliver engaging and highly effective lessons * will have a recognised teaching qualification and proven experience in teaching * will have knowledge of Cambridge exams * will have a clean DBS check * will respect appropriate dress code * will preferably have a working knowledge of Italian * must have good computer skills and general knowledge of smartboard use.
Who we are * NGE is a small family-run English school with over 30 years of experience * We have recently moved to larger premises with lots of space for fun activities.
* We are a Cambridge Preparation Centre and part of our programmes focus on exam preparation.
* We are located in a small friendly coastal town with easy access to surrounding areas * We thrive on maximising our students' potential What we offer * Didactic material including course books * Large classrooms with smartboards * Help with lesson planning and mentoring will be provided * Wide range of resources available * Assistance in settling in and any necessary admin.
We require * Proven native-level English across all 4 skills * Recent teaching reference contacts * Cover letter specifying motivation to join our team * Open and friendly team member, keen to share ideas * A teacher with the right to work in the EU or hold a valid work permit for employment in the EU * Weekly meetings to discuss personal well-being and student progress Qualifications * Native-level English across all 4 skills * Degree * CELTA or TEFL qualification * Familiarity with Cambridge ESOL exams * At least 1 year teaching experience Salary and Benefits * The contract will be for 9 months from late September until end of June with possibility of renewal after end of year review * Salary depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview * Flight pick-up from Lamezia Terme Airport * Recently-renovated apartment ready to move into (rental details will be provided during the interview) * All national holidays and public holidays (approx.
2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week at Easter)
