DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT, SOLAR SOLUTIONS

Por qué te necesitamos? This role is critical in defining and driving the product vision and roadmap to position CertainTeed Solar as a leader in Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) and traditional solar solutions.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing product strategy, launching new products, and fostering strategic partnerships to support growth in the solar and roofing markets.

Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, ensuring CertainTeed Solar’s offerings are positioned for success.
Develop a BIPV and solar portfolio strategy, incorporating innovative solutions that integrate with Saint-Gobain’s sustainable construction and energy efficiency goals.
Product Management Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, including product development, launch, and post-launch performance.
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
Ensure product quality meets or exceeds industry standards, optimizing for reliability, aesthetics, and installation efficiency.
Oversee pricing, profitability, and product positioning to maximize product impact and market penetration.
Strategic Partnerships Identify, evaluate, and forge partnerships with key stakeholders in the solar, roofing, and construction industries to accelerate CertainTeed Solar’s innovation and market reach.
Build and maintain relationships with technology providers, distributors, installers, and regulatory bodies to ensure CertainTeed Solar products meet evolving industry standards and customer requirements.
Collaborate with the GM and executive leadership to create joint ventures and alliances that enhance CertainTeed Solar’s capabilities and market position.
Market Leadership & Innovation Act as a thought leader in the BIPV and traditional solar sectors, contributing to the overall vision and strategy of CertainTeed Solar’s role in renewable energy.
Monitor technological advancements and industry developments to integrate the latest innovations and drive a sustainable competitive edge.
Work cross-functionally with Saint-Gobain’s global teams to leverage best practices and technologies that will benefit CertainTeed Solar’s product strategy.
Team Leadership & Development Build and lead a high-performing product management team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and professional development.
Foster a collaborative, agile, and results-oriented culture that encourages team innovation and ownership of CertainTeed Solar’s growth.
