BUYER INTERNSHIP

For this exciting position, you will be included in the Department of Purchasing & Quality in the division of Purchasing . You will support the team in analyzing cost items and negotiating all aspects with the supplier, in accordance with company targets, and scouting for new suppliers and market benchmarks. You will collaborate with various internal functions in activities such as creating and/or consolidating partnerships with suppliers in their own category, developing a supply strategy for managed components, and identifying cost-saving and improvement ideas. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to interface with multifunctional teams and appoint, within the project timeframe, suppliers that meet the required quality/technical/economic requirements. Required Profile You will ideally be a recent graduate or Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Mechanical or Management Engineering , Economics , or similar . You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions but also have gained first work experience through internships or projects that allow you to understand the business complexities and help you develop your personal and communicative skills. At Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented, and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge. The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
